TalaRayce was born in 2019 in Ikeja, Lagos, from a simple observation: the modern Nigerian man was being underserved by his wardrobe. He needed a sharply tailored suit for the boardroom on Monday, an agbada that commanded the room at his cousin’s traditional wedding on Saturday, and a kaftan that let him breathe on a Sunday afternoon yet no single house was building all three with the same obsession over cut, cloth, and craft.
We set out to change that.
What began as a bespoke tailoring outfit has grown into a full wardrobe house,one that treats the suit, the agbada, and the kaftan not as separate categories, but as chapters of the same story: a man who is fluent in both his heritage and his ambition. Every piece that leaves our Ijaiye production unit is built on that philosophy,cross-cultural mastery, cut for the man who refuses to choose between where he’s from and where he’s going.
Today, TalaRayce dresses clients across Lagos and within the diaspora, men who reach us through Instagram, WhatsApp, referral, and walk-in, and who stay with us because a TalaRayce piece is measured against one standard: does it hold up under the exact life this man actually lives?
We are not building a tailoring shop. We are building the wardrobe architecture for a generation of Nigerian men who move confidently across every room they enter.

Tobiloba founded TalaRayce in 2019 with a conviction that Nigerian menswear deserved the same rigor, structure, and brand discipline as any global luxury house — without losing what makes it distinctly Nigerian. Under Tobiloba’s direction, TalaRayce has grown from a bespoke tailoring practice into a full wardrobe house, building the systems, standards, and craft relationships needed to serve a discerning client base at home and across the diaspora. That vision extends beyond the atelier — into the operational backbone, client experience, and brand architecture that now define how TalaRayce delivers on every commission.
